Simone is a main character in Season 2 of I Am Frankie. She is a student at Sepulveda High, and she is an android.

Simone is portrayed by Tommi Rose.

Summary

Simone is an android. She was created at WARPA to be a spy, but she does not know that. She believes that she was created in Canada and kidnapped by WARPA.

When WARPA decided she was no longer useful as an unwitting spy, they sent a command intended to shut her down permanently. Cynthia was able to restart Simone's systems, but as a result of the extremely unorthodox shutdown, she lost all her memories and had to be reminded her name was Simone.

Dr. James Peters did have a backup copy of Simone's memories, and these were reinstalled to allow Simone to remember them.

At the end of season 2, Simone receives a private, encrypted transmission from an unknown individual who prompted her to arrange for Cynthia Mandal to be arrested for her many crimes as the head of WARPA, crippling the organisation in the process.

Personality

Simone is moody and defiant and originally has trouble adjusting to school. She shares a connection with Andrew because she is basically his duplicate. After WARPA disconnects from her, she loses her memory, leaving her very gullible to pranks by her fellow classmates. With her memory restoration, her original personality traits return.

Technical Specifications

• Simone is equipped with a short-range bluetooth high-bandwidth transmitter which is used to transmit her thoughts to nearby androids. Because of the extremely short range, she must remain within a short distance of the android she is communicating with.
• Simone has a speech modulation program: if she's heard someone's voice, she can use the associated memory file to imitate their voice perfectly.
• Simone has a usb cable inside her left forearm, she uses this for direct wired connections to other androids via their USB port.
• Simone has a 36 core double-speed processor running at 16 Ghz.
• Simone's right index finger is a thermal generator. What purpose this serves is unknown, but Simone states it's useful for igniting gas jets on stoves and general fire ignition.
